soundcard built into the motherboard, vs. installed soundcard!
Please help!
I have the P4S5A ECS Elitegroup P4 motherboard
With this motherboard, there is already a soundcard that is a PART of the motherboard.
It installs the "C-Media" audio devices and drivers.
I installed Creative Audigy Gamer onto my computer *after TRYING to uninstall the drivers for C-Media, not sure if it worked.
Now I have no sound at all. I'm not sure how exactly to completely uninstall all of the drivers and everything for C-Media. The CD rom for my motherboard doesn't give me an uninstall option.
I've tried uninstalling both soundcard drivers and reinstalling just the Creative sound card with no luck.
PLEASE help!
BTW. In Control Panel - Sounds, I DO have the devices set to Creative, all of my devices in device manager seem to be working.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This is very frustrating, both creative and my motherboard people keep ignoring my requests for help!
Thanks for your time!
