    LT win modem problems

    problem with a win modem - LT - 36,600
    I'v got the OpenComm messege !!!

    If you check Microsoft TechNet, it should have some suggestions you may want to try to overcome this problem.

    If I recall correctly, one of the possible problems is software that is running in the background, such as fax software, that is not compliant with current TAPI standards. You may want to try disabling all other communcations programs and see if this solves your problem.

    It may also help if you let us know what your OS is and what communications programs you run as well as their version numbers.
