    Help - Hardwre wizrd won't instll modem

    My hardware installation wizard in Win95 freezes with hanging hourglass 1/2 way through the install. Then won't respond to anything, not even <cntrl><alt><del>. What could be wrong? Any suggestions? This is a Zoom V.34I internal modem mfg in 1995. Win95 platform on 80486 PC. Any HELP! please!

    This is a real long shot, but I have had Cardinal Wizards hang with PS2 mice on more than one Asus VLB motherboard. I had to turn off the PS2 connector on the motherboard and install a serial mouse in order to get them to run. Strange. Once the modems were set up, the PS2 mouse could be reinstalled.
