FX5600 - Tv Tuner not working ¿
Hi...
First sorry cause I'm a Brazilian and my english is not good !!!
My PC configuration:
- Athlon XP 2000+ 1.67 mHZ
- 256 MB Ram
- windows XP professional version 2002 service pack 1
- inno 3d geforce fx 5600 personal cinema
- nvidia WDM drivers (A\V crossbar, TVAudio Crossbar, TVTuner, Video Capture(universal)) driver date: 2/12/2003 version 2.2.0.0
- Asus A7V333 motherboard
- hd maxtor 80gb 7200rpm ata 133
- Directx 9.0 (4.09.0000.0900)
I bought a Inno 3D Personal Cinema FX5600 128MB
and I can't capture any tv channels...
I don't know if I doing the right thing ...
I retire the cable of my tv and put it direct in the card (Connector for TV cable or Antenna ) and I can't capture anything... just a black window in any software (christv, haupage, intervideo)... any software captures any channel...
well.... could you help me ¿ how I could know (or test) if my tv card is ok, if the connector is working fine ¿
thanks for your attention...
Ingmar Biberg
P.S. If someone want more details ask me... thanks again !!!

Welcome to WD Guinho .
The 'Cable' you speak of , is it one that comes in to your home and goes to your TV and you moved it to FX card ,
or a cable from your TV to FX card ?
Hope you understand what I'm trying to ask .

On the software to capture, when you press the capture or record button, do you get a picture then? If not you have probably got the software to look at the wrong input. You need to change the input to the tv tuner. It sounds like its on the video in or svideo in.
