    download help

    When I download patches & visualizatoins the files tell me that I need XP to run them when Im running XP, and wont open......

    Hello witto,

    Some questions.

    When you download the patches are you using WindowsUpdate to do this or downloading them direct from MS for individual installation?
    What service pack is applied?
    Is this a legal copy of XP?
    Please post the exact error message as well along with pcc specs.

    NOt to confuse you, witto, but try this app Autopatcher @ www.autopatcher.com, It contains all the patches till recently and some extra tweaks too(be careful when u tick/untick some of them), better get the package called Ultra Lite, only the patches and fixes are in that and its not too big, it also contains all the updates for WMP9
