Can't get on the internet; can see other computers.
Any help would be appreciated. I have made a couple of hijackthis changes to no avail. I can browse the network and see other computers, just can't get on the interenet. Have loaded another browser which doesn't help. Have run spybot.

Welcome to Windrivers st84.
I always start with the basics. Can you ping an internet IP such as 216.109.118.64 ? If so, try to ping it by name - ping www.yahoo.com

What a mess! Get hijack this to fix the above - including shockwave (you can get it again easily).
You need the lsp fix. it is linked on this thread here
While you are at it, go through the other suggested tools and use them. Then use lspfix and then repost your hijack log.
