    NT 4.0 BDC resync error

When BDC server is rebooted, it cannot resync against the PDC. It has to be demoted to a regular server and then promoted to a backup domain controller to resync against the PDC. This server is located in a remote site from the main PDC across a T1 link. Recently, the subnet and addressing of the server was changed. It appeared to be working as all TCP/IP centric services are functional, except for the BDC resync across the t1 to the pdc.

    Thanks, in advance.

What happenes if you force a replication from the server manager? Any error logged? Any firewall or IP filtering? Can the BDC be seen/pinged from the other end? Give as many details as possible...
