    has anyone here actually done this? I tried and had a few probs, sorted them out and just started using autopatcherxp and Ghost instead

    It disables all the useless plugins that make Adobe Reader 6 take so long to start, its super. And while ur at it try teh autopatcher link in my sig, its really useful too.
