Report from the front on the War on Terror.
Spoke with my conservative sister who lives in N.Y.City. She said people she spoke to were somewhat concerned when they heard the news about the latest terrorist alert. She also said the first thing people asked each other "is it true or did they make it up?"
Today she said most people in NY (in her opinion) think it was an election ploy by Bush.
When the people of NY which suffered thru 9-11 get a "terror alert" and the first thing they ask is was it a political move you can see what a mess were in.
Bush has lost and will never regain the trust of half the country. And I wonder how many of his supporters like his policies but still don't trust him.
For the good of the country Bush should drop out of the race.

According to what I heard on the radio, your poodle, John Kerry, said he didn't think it was political at all.
Unfortunately, I can't post a link, 'cause I heard it on the radio.
ps - maybe, for the good of the country, you could move to Canada (or France) (the smilies make it all better)

Well, let's me try to understand this now: you're supposedly conservative sister tallked to 12 million people in NYC and thinks she knows what NYC thinks?? Or, maybe it was only seven million, right?
Is that what you are saying techs? You're "conservative sister" knows the heartbeat of NY?
Come on now: GET freaking real!! That is like Cleetus thinking he is every woman's desire!!! It is INSANE!!

Anyone care to wager against me? I bet that Bush loses NYCity by at least 10 percent of the vote? The city that suffered the most damage and loss. Seems people in Kansas are more worried about terrorism than the people of NY. Or is it that people in NY City realize that 140,000 troops in Iraq are doing zip in protecting us against a terrorist attack?

She's less megalomanic than everybody who thinks they know what all Americans think, and about half of Windrivers so far falls into that category

Ok, let's bring all the troops home and put them on the streets.
Police state, anyone?
Besides, that would be a direct violation of the US Constitution.

How about putting them in Afghanistan to find Bin Laden?
They are not fighting terrorism in Iraq.
How about keeping the National Guard at home so they can, I don't know, guard us?

Many newspapers are reporting that the sudden terror alerts are a political tactic being used by Bush because he has the power to abuse it.
