Geezer
Paranoid ? Post it here ..
If Paranoid Personality Disorder is as a pervasive distrust and suspiciousness of others such that their motives are interpreted as malevolent, then why does it feel like everyones out to get me ?

I would post here, but too many people are watching me....
They do say that paranoia is just a heightened sense of awareness...

Geezer
So since I started a thread on this 'paranoia stuff' - I'll ask a question -
Am I paranoid in thinking when faced with Tech posts that begin with a HijackTHis log & nothing else that lots of lazy, 1/2 arsed techs post big fat logs here, as they are too idle to decode them themsleves ?

I'm reminded of a T-shirt slogan that used to be popular in my youth:
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!

Hey Jeff, where were you last Tuesday when the CV joint collapsed on my Astra on the hill by the Pier Car Park?
Saltburn's a mental place, we spent the day on the Cleveland way clifftop by that funny metal ring thing..... tell you what we could have been on the continent it was so lovely.
You live in a great place of the country, ya lucky thing! Do you surf?

Hi Corturbra ... I was 10 miles away dealing with spyware, otherwise I'd have fixed you up with a tow/toolbox loan/use of phone/coffee etc.
Saltburn's a lovely place to live though. Small enough to walk anywhere (and safe), not too far from the bright lights of the big city.
I don't surf or swim any more, holes in the eardrums make infections a nasty possibility, unfortunately, and I want to keep the lugholes intact for music making.
We Windrivers addicts could use a bumper sticker or T shirt or a funny handshake to identify ourselves ... money making suggestion for Scott there ?
I think I know just enough to know how much I don't know... I think...

Yeah I like Saltburn, father in law lives up the road in Ormesby. I'll remember your details for next time the car blows up! So what music are you into making? Singer/guitarist/drummer?
So do many breakdowns happen on that hill, it is a steep bugger.
Yeah a windrivers bumper sticker and letter of introduction including safe havens throughout the world... I think you may be onto something!
"windrivers members do it together - online" is my cr@p suggestion, but a start!

I play acoustic and electric guitar, fretless bass, bad drums and worse keyboards (with assistance from a friendly computer). I sing when I can't find anybody better to do it, but in any gathering of two or more there's usually a better singer than me My particular bags are blues, folk, ragtime, 50s/60s/70s rock, reggae and anything I can use bottleneck/slide for.
The hill isn't so much of a problem for breakdowns as much as people losing it on the way down, there's been some spectacular accidents on that first right hander on the way down. I've seen a truck go through the barrier and end up with the cab hanging in thin air 20 feet past the barrier. The driver had to do the monkey swing to reach a place where he could safely drop to the hillside below!
I think I know just enough to know how much I don't know... I think...

Cool, I play acoustic and electric as well. Blues/rock/pop anything that goes really, as for singing I do some, but like yourself when someone else is around I like to sidestep and let them carry on..... haven't quite mastered (by that I mean started) the slide guitar yet, I usually have my action too low.
Yeah it was on that bend that the CV popped in spectacular style much to the amusement of following motorists.... Bet the monkey swinging was fun to watch. Did you catch the American Classic show on Sunday?
