    Cardinal 3440 Flash?

I know all about the Cardinal site. The stuff on Windrivers is no help as the files are .inf and not the V.90 flash I need. If anyone can let me know where to get the V.90 flash for this modem, please post it here!

Actually, getting the flash program "c4e126.exe" is going to leave you as high and dry as you are now. In order to actually flash the modem, this "update wizard" attempts to load the flash from the Cardinal server in Atlanta. Only problem is, the server doesn't answer. I've been trying for 2 weeks. The other option is to load a .dmf file from disk. That is the file you need, which I can't find. If anyone knows more about this, please let me know.

    Re Flash Upgrade:
    Go here http://www.windrivers.com/company/cardinal/v90.htm

The flash upgrade and drivers are here. When running the upgrade, at the point it wants to dial out you can select disk. Just go to where you unzip the files.
PS:I'm beginning to doubt that this is actually a good flash upgrade. I flashed my modem when cardinal was still in business and it would gradually slow down to a crawl and disconnect. I finally found the string to make it not run V.90 (S32=66) and it worked more or less the same as before the flash. The flash from the above site seems to have that problem fixed, but I still can't get connected any faster than 33 or so.

Thanks, but if you'll look at the date of my original post (feb/99), it's just a little old.
I have since found the drivers, flashes and such for these, and I'm the one that provided them to windrivers.
    Thanks anyhow!
