Call Of Duyt United Offensive
Hey guys hope every one is doing well im having this horrible issue and its been racking my brain for 2 days i have the retail version of call of duty went out and bought the call of duty expansion pack united offensive it all worked fine for awhile then with me and my smart idea's i decided to UNINSTALL it make a clone copy of the united offense as a backup like i always do with my games and then decided to install it again . now here is where the poblem lays call of duty installs fine but when i try to install the expansion pack again whether i use the Orginal Game or the clone cd backup i get this error
Error: -1610 The configuration data for this product is corrupt contact your support personnel
i have tried everything possible i can think of ive deleted reg keys ive uninstalled and reinstalled serveral times only to get the same error message i made the clone using alcohol %120 the newest version but i don't see that being the problem when i get the same error

when i use the RETAIL CD for the expansion pack so there must be something in my reg? or possibly did i really screw something up any help would be really appriciated i'd like to play the game ill give u my specs of the computer even though i think the issue lays inside the O/S for some reason

amd xp 2200
Geforce 6800 o/c
512 ddr
sound blaster audigy card
200gb seagate hd
any suggestions would be so appricated thanks for taking the time to read my problem
