    Enter Password for Microsoft Networking?

    Hi Gang,

In order to correct the problem I previously stated in the forum I had to delete all the fields in my Networking icon, delete registry entries, and then rebuild them. This problem, which was causing me to go offline when I installed a videocam, has been solved.

However now whenever I log on to Windows I am prompted for a password. I have deleted .pwl files and added "Microsoft Family Logon" to my Networking file with no good result. Clicking OK and clicking Cancel gets rid of the prompt but it appears again as soon as I restart.

How do I get rid of the Client for Microsoft Network password prompt? In the name field It says Private. No password is installed.

    Thanks,

I think you have to hit enter once, just leaving the password blank. Then next time you boot up it should skip the password screen. I think...

Thats what I was about to suggest..... along with deleting *.pwl then logging in and entering a blank password.... well done for sorting it though!
