Not as feature rich as ZA or similar I suppose but I have found it pretty useful so far. It does prompt for new apps trying to establish outgoing connections now which wasn't the case before.
Seems to be easier to configure than before also.
I haven't read any reviews on it versus commercial products, but so far have heard nothing about any glaring security holes in it.

Stick with Zone Alarms....
MS Firewall is like any MS product open for leaks/bad coding. Zone Alarms I have never had a problem with and I think is more effective than most hardware firewalls. I have Zone Alarms installed and you are invisible to the outside world.... kind of annoying though that my ISP won't hide my IP, but if you go to GRC.com and run all the tests, Zone Alarms doesn't respond to any of the probes.
I haven't tested with Windows Firewall, which I guess I should do to quantify what I'm saying, but my guess is it'll be leakier than a sieve.

Just one review but it raises some interesting points. Apparently it doesn't monitor outgoing traffic as I thought.
