    upgraded to xp home lost my modem

    i just upgraded my win me os to win xp from another comp. but i can't connect to my modem ... even though it seems to be running the comp. doesn't acnowledge it . don't know if it's the driver but if i can't connect how do i update driver . ohh and i don't remember what modem i have on the comp.. what can i do ???
