Acer 310s scanner SCSI SW ??

On the back of my 310s there is a sw with positions 0-9..There is nothing in the manual about what position the SW should be on when you are going SCSI to SCSI. This scanner worked on my old computer but stopped working after trying to get it to work on a new computer.
Now I can't get it to work on either.

You didn't say which version of Windows you're using.

Acer's scanners are now supported by BenQ. Imaging Device Drivers

You can also find your Installation Manual for WinXP here in .pdf format. It says to set the SCSI ID to 2.

Normally, you should be able to set it up for any address except 7. That is usually reserved for the SCSI Interface itself.

Hope this helps out...Good Luck!
