    Angry Win98SE Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard

    All of a sudden, my Scanner and Camera icon in my Control Panel disappeared.

    I installed a program that recovers this sort of stuff and now I have the icon back.

    However, when I click on it, the listings is empty and when I click on Add I get the message that the "Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard" is non operative.

    How can I reinstal this icon/program properly from scratch?

    Welcome to Windrivers thehawk66.
    My first thought is to go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove Software and remove any references to your Scanner/Camera software, reboot and reinstall the whole kitandkaboodle.
    Let us know how it turns out.
