Notebook card installation problem w/o cd
I inherited a laptop with windows 98se installed as un upgrade. I don't have the installation cd, nor is there a copy on my hard drive. I'm trying to install a Belkin f5d07010, wireless notebook network card and the installation procedure asks for the windows installation cd? What else can I do?

Welcome to windrivers NJLady. Unfortunately, the person from whom you acquired the laptop was responsible for transferring the operating system with it. If the laptop came with a windows COA or licencse and you can prove that you are the owner, you might be able to obtain a replacement CD from microsoft at a nominal charge. Otherwise, you will need to acquire a new copy of windows.
