New Democrat leader
So, do you think that the Dem's should go with Dean for their new leader, or should they look to someone much more moderate?
Honestly, I think they should take Dean, re-establish their base, then branch back out. They really need to just break everything down again. Taken a super moderate, say like someone such as Bill Clinton, will only further muddy their platforms.

You go with Dean as your front runner and you should expect the Republicans to gain another senate seat and probably 2 more house seats.
Billary will be the man for 2008.

It ain't going to matter. By 2008 this country will be so tired of the Republicans that Al Sharpton could win.

There is a pretty good chance that the Republican party will have a falling out within itself that will lead to defections within the party. Checking the news today it looks as if the ultra conservative wing of the party is already trying to foist their way upon the president and congress.

Good, maybe there will be more than 2 political parties to choose from that the media will accept.

A "wishy-washy middle of the road party" in a democracy is the one that represents most of the people, yet you say it like it is a bad thing.
Libertarians are hardly middle of the road, Webhead. Political idealogies are judged on two basic axis: Liberal-Conservative and Authoritarian-Libertarian. You could have a Liberal Libertarian or a Conservative Libertarian, they would both believe in the supremacy of individual rights though disagree on the size of ideal government.

Yeah I know,.. I saw that grid thing that was posted before. I sit right next to Ghandi on that grid.

The libertarians changed their name to that? That's weird.
