No DVD decoder found with Pinnacle
Hello,
I just buy and installed a CD/DVD Writer Samsung TS-H552. In the box there is Pinnacle software. I can read normal CDs and DVD content but I can not play the DVD movies. When I wan to play a movie I see the message 'No DVD Decoder found'. When I check (with cmd --> dvdupgrd/detect) then I see that I have a decoder (Pinnacle). Why will he not play DVD movies ? My computer is 1 year old (XP Home). Thanks PS: With WinDVD or BlazeDVD everything is working fine... Last edited by Perjan; January 3rd, 2005 at 01:02 PM. |

Download a DVD decoder from this link below, the package is called K-Lite Codec Pack,
