USB Memory Stick & Win98
I have just bought a 512MB "Easy Disk" USB2.0 Memory Stick to use for transferring data between my main computer which runs XP [no probs there]
and my laptop which runs Win98. [I use my laptop when researching my Family History away from home]
Win98 recognises that there is new hardware, but we just can't get the driver situation sorted out. My husband spent about 3 hours online this afternoon trying to find a suitable driver so that Win98 would run the USB drive - but to no avail.
Any advice, suggestions, gratefully received.

Hi bittymatriarch,
Welcome to WinDrivers!
Is this memory stick made by IO Data? If so, go here:
http://www.iodata.com/usa/support/downloads.php
There are several "Easy Disk" models listed. Hopefully, you can find the correct one.
Good Luck!

Unfortunately, it's not one of IO Data's; it's from
http://www.opti3.com/ this is the website that my husband tried to download the driver from yesterday.
The model number on the side of the Memory Stick is ED717M 065301254
and trying to match it up with what's on the above site is a very frustrating experience. AND they don't give support to non-USA customers [I'm in the UK]

Intel Mod
TrekStor list a model ED717M, the Win98 tools for it could be worth trying, here under "USB-Stick 2.0 CS" :
