    should i bridge my onboard IEEE 1394 network adaptor to my regular network adaptor???

    my motherboard has the adaptor on it and wehn i click on my network settings it shows both adaptors are active .should i bridge the two ???

    Do you want to attempt any network connection via IEE1394? It is always recognised as a Network Adaptor, and can be used as a fast peer-to-peer connection, but normally I think it would just be disregarded in networking.

    Agreed Platypus, todd.russ, if youre not using the IEEE 1394 (Firewire) port for networking two pc's, then just let it be as it is at the moment. Firewire is used mostly for peripheral devices, like DV Cameras.
