Transparent Desktop Icons
I did a search about this and found 2 threads but neither seemed to fix my problem. Drop shadows are enabled, and I don't have the "lock web items to desktop" option for some reason. My icons were completely transparent on the text, but now they have a blue background. See pics. I can't find a solution, anyone got ideas?

So far as I can see the blue color shows on the Icons when they are selected?
Display Properties --> Appearance --> Advanced
The color selected for Selected Items is what is used when you select and Icon or anything, in your case Selected Items is set to dark blue.

Yeh, it's only when it's selected. But I don't ever remember it being that way. I coulda swore that it was always completely transparent even when selected. Is there anyway to ditch that selection color completely?
