Scantak driver.
I have downloaded Scantak.zip and tried to install driver. I keep on getting a message that the file photo.se_ is corrupt or my disk is damaged and instalatioin will not proceed any further. My disk is not damaged. I have tried re-downloading scantak.zip and extracting the file again without success. Has any kind person the answer to this one? (It took me some time to work out that I have to create new folders for the various files)

I've gotten around a buggy install a few times by going into safe mode and then running the install. If the install needs to "see" the scanner during install this probably won't work but it won't hurt anything to try. Also, you could run msconfig and turn off all startup items and try again.
