PCMCIA Issue
Not an issue I'm personally having, but I would like to help someone out. Basically there's a device he plugs into his PCMCIA which does not get detected on his *3* laptops. I plug it into mine and it works straight away, once I prodded it in as far in as possible of course. The same technique did not work on his. Any recommendations?

Laptops/Notebooks/PDA Mod
More info needed:
What "device" are we talking about? (make and model)
What OS is he running - what OS are you running?
Do other PCMICA devices work on his other laptops?
What does device manager show when the "device" is inserted?

It's some sort of card programmer. I couldn't tell you more than that. The only OS difference is that his windows copy is fresh. No SP2, mines does. We are both on XP.
I tested my wireless PCMCIA card in his and it worked.
