normal CD works but DVD does not
Hi there,
Since a few days Im having problems with my CD RW/DVD rom. Everything used to work fine, but suddenly the drive doesnt regonise DVDs any longer. When I insert a normal data/audio CD there are no problems, but with a DVD it says there's nothing in the drive.
I checked the region settings, which are correct, and I also re-installed the complete device which didnt work either, nor did rebooting.
My DVD rom is HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4320B, if thats of any help to you. I have no clue what else I can try, so I was hoping one of you could give me a suggestion? Im using Windows drivers v5.0.2183.1 (couldnt find any updates) signed @ 11/14/1999.
Edit: Im using win2000 pro btw
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
dopeh
