Samsung CDRW/DVD problem
I recently purchased a Samsung CDRW/DVD SM-352B as a gift. Seemed to work ok when first installed but now will only work with a CD in the drive. If
you there is no CD in the drive on start up or if the CD is taken out duing operation I get a blue screen with the following error:
An exception OE has occurred at 0028:C00498b0 in VxD VFAT(01) + 0007838. This was called from 0028:C1833E90 in VxD voltrack (04) + 0000430. Please help, this was a gift that has gone very horribly wrong.
P.S. We are running Windows 98.

Hi tambyrne welcome to windrivers ..
Sounds to me that the likely culprit will be your burning software, what is it ? & have you tried 'add-removing' it ? (Most especially you get your exact circumstances with nero's 'in-cd' packet writing software{s/w that makes a cd/dvd -rw behave like a hard drive})
