    Wink Cd Rom Drive No Longer Responding

    What's up to all online! I am a newbie here, and I am having a problem with my CD ROM drives. They were working fine once upon a time ago, but now I am not able to play CD's, nor install any type of software because the CD ROM drives are not responding. Can someone help me?

    Hi dude & welcome to wd forums.

    First thing to try is the 'cd boot test' - see this - handy stuff for full details on how to test your cd rom outside of windows to establish if the cause is physical or software .
