OK I HAVE A gateway puter here cdrom and dvd drive arent working funny yellow exlimation point i uninstalled roxio no dice . cant force xp to run in repair mode as you cant guess a administrators password as it wont accept it!
been in touch with gateway ext its a panasonic cdrw and a lite on dvd ...
error code is 39 unable to load driver for devices and $%^&# cant make it remove drivers or install new ones!@#$% pos next i will be trying to use network cabale and spare celery puter to reload roxio .. anny ideas on this stupid issue
oh and you can boot from the gateway xp rstore disk .. just cdrom drivers are corrupt!
