Post display shrunk after installing ATI Al-in-wonder 9200 video card

I've installed ATI All-In-Wonder9200 (Radeon graphics) video card on my Desktop with windows XP . Connected to Sony(Triton).

    1) Can see the picture on TV and have clear sound. But the display on my desk top shrunk in vertical direction and elongated horizontally. Moved to the top. How to correct it?

    2) How to set so that the movie is displayed on Tv while the monitor can be used for other activities like checking mails etc.

    3) How to adjust the quality of the picture on desktop?

Did you use the drivers off the cd it came with?
If so go get the updated drivers at ATI
    www.ATI.com
Setting displays on different monitors can be done with Hydravison
    Also avaliable there

First tried to install off the CD, as it did not work, downloaded from ATI site. I'll try Hydravision, perhaps basic edition might be sufficient?

..Setting displays on different monitors can be done with Hydravison..
I'd have said that your problem appears to be both displays using the same resolution & refresh rates.

But you don't 'need' hydravison for that - hydravison is an add on increasing windows ability to manage multiple displays ;-
..Hydravision™ Multi-monitor Management Software enables you to tailor your desktop to the way you work, so you can manage increased amounts of information and improve your productivity. Your productivity is increased thanks to two aspects Hydravision™:
Breadth - increase your desktop work space by using up to two monitors
Depth - create multiple layers of desktop workspace with Multi-Desk ..
I've got multiple displays & the '.net' version of ATI's drivers & no sign of hydravision on my system, as I don't want/need any of its 'advantages' using multiple desktops ..

All of this is to do with 'clone mode' & 'video overlay' issues - & to cut a very long story short, if you want that to be easily done & work 'as expected' (or certainly how you might expect having read all the 'sales bumf' ) then what you want is latest driver from ATI, but the '.net' version which makes all of this display management much easier

(then you just set the refresh rates independently & click apply & it should work)
