Generic File Printer Driver
I'm looking for a preferably "free" printer driver that would allow me to "print" to a text file. I am running win 98 and have one program where I cutting and pasting large blocks of text is not good. I would rather print to a file and edit from there.
Thanks for your help Sam |

Sam,
You already have your driver. It is part of the operating system. You can create a new printer and for the port name, instead of LPTx, put FILE Whenever you print to this printer it should ask you for a filename and send the job there. As far as formatting in text just tell your application to send text only. Good Luck Bruce |
