Putting a DVD on your HD permanently
I have a DVD I use regularly, but I'd like to get rid of the annoyance of putting it in the cd drive every time I want to use it. Is there a way of copying it onto my hard drive so it's always there?

Laptops/Notebooks/PDA Mod
There is a ton of software programs on the market which can be used quite easily to do what you're asking on privately owned, non copyright-protected DVD's.
What you are looking for is referred to as a "DVD Ripper" and can be found quite easily through a web search, but legality can come into play here, so that's as much as I'll mention without knowing what the intended use is, etc.

Is this a movie? Your operating system Is? You will need to go to C:
and make a folder of whatever name you want on it. Then go to windows explorer and with your disk in drive you can drag all to folder you named.
I do not believe you can play movie from folder as it will have no exe.
