Old friend still as good as ever.
As I had some time on my hands recently, I went through my old games and rediscovered an old buddy, Fallout Tactics! Slapped the disks in the new box and rediscovered the joys of tactical combat in the Wastelands! What fun!

I have that but never tried it, I think I'll load it this weekend! Thanks for the recommendation!

Depending on your taste, it can be played real time or turn based. Being an old fashioned gamer, I use the turn based option.
A quick tip, the first Quartermaster, in Alpha Base, is a cheap bastard, so I would only barter with him if I had to. The Medical Sage, however, gives you better value for your stuff, particularly since he has good healing supplies.
Good luck, Initiate!

What I don't like about real-time strategy games is you have to micro-manage the darn things. You just can't get good help! Way too much like real jobs.
