Good point. My HP LaserJet 6L works under win2k courtesy of the MS driver automatically added during the OS install - but there are no drivers available (on the win2k Pro CD, or from HP) to allow printing via network from win9x or NT boxes. If I try to install a driver for win9x or NT locally on the other machine for the printer on the win2k box, it won't accept it - though it accepts it for use with a local printer. HP's response: "we don't support networks, Sir - only printers". Microsoft's online Help is encouraging: "You can do it" (but not much about how). Hmmm... (At least the printer installed under win2k "just works". That I like!)
