Printing from serial port to paralel printer
Hello there...
i have windows nt 4 server with service pack 6a...
ok...the problem is this:
in this machine (computer) I only have 1 slot to put an extra expansion card, in this slot i have an extra network card..so the problem is that i only have 1 paralel port to use an i can´t add any kind of hardware 'via' expansion slot (somekind of paralel controller...
1.- question: can i print from the serial port to another printer (inkjet or laserjet) ??
i don´t know, but i feel can be possible...
plz help

If you are willing to change operating systems (w2k or win98), then you could use USB port to run your printer. Of course the price of the new operating system is about the same price as a new motherboard. I don't see any other way out of your problem, maybe some else has an idea.
