Floppy for Sata

I want make a floppy disk in order to instal XP Pro SP2 in a Sata-2 HD.
(Mobo recognize it as Sata-1)
Where can I find latest files?
Or I could use the ones which are in mobo's cd-rom?

Mobo is Asus A8V Deluxe 2.0, agp, bios 1017
(VIA K8T800Pro - VIA VT8237)

They are most definetly on the cd that came with the motherboard and here

I followed the course with that floppy and now I have XP Pro on that sata (WD, 8mb cache, 160GB)
I also have a Maxtor (sata, 16mb cache, 300GB) which will use as storage room.
Also there is an IDE HD (WD, 80GB) which I ll throw it away.

Theres one Bios question:
Advanced - On board Devices Configuration - Onboard Promise Controller
if [enabled] there are 2 options: [RAID mode], [Onboard IDE Operate Mode]
What do I choose?

Why would you throw a perfectly good Ide drive away? Unless it is damaged?
Always a use for them, like a test drive to look at new windows(vista)

Well, if you don't want to use raid, you dont choose raid..leave it at ide option

What do u mean "leave it"? Is there this option by default?

unless you are using raid, you don't set it to raid regardless of how many disks you use. If you set it to raid, you have to use raid

no..they are on two different controllers.

that option tells the sata controller if you want it to function in a raid mode, or if you want it to function as an ide type controller..for example with a master and a slave. If you don't enable the promise controller, chanced are the stat drives will not work at all

What is the difference between function in a raid mode, function in ide type controller
This time I have 2 sata & 1 ide, tomorrow I get rid of 1 ide, this means I ll change the options?

I don't think I am the one that is confused. The IDE controller on the motherboard is not part of the sata controller. You can use up to two ide devices per channel of however many ide channels your motherboard has. (usually two) These can be hard drives, zip drives, cd-rom drives, etc. These will work as ide drives regardless of your sata settings. The difference between raid mode and ide type controller has already been explained. If you want to use raid (you don't..I know..I am saying IF for comparison purposes) then you set the sata controller to raid mode. If you want to use your sata drives the way you say you want to use them..with one as the C drive to boot from, and one as the D drive for extra storage or whatever, then you set it to function as an ide type controller..this gives you master and slave drives. If the promise onboard controller is the only sata connection that your motherboard has (and I am pretty sure that is the case) then it has to be enabled to access your sata drives. So..you set the onboard promise controller to enabled, and set the mode to Onboard IDE Operate Mode.

One more time: I do not, NOT, use Raid.
I do not use raid. Dont even have same satas.

So I ll choose ide operate mode...Even if i do not have any ide disk in my system?
