Installing Windows XP
Hello,
I'm having some trouble install XP at the moment. The machine I'm trying to install it on is about 4 years old and has had XP on it before. At the moment, its got Fedora Core Linux on it, so I was hoping to stick the XP cd in, boot into the XP installation process and completely blat the linux installation.
The problem is, I put the CD, boot from CD, then there is a message saying "Windows is inspecting your current configuration"... then the screen goes blank and nothing happens. The only way you can get out of it is by pulling the plug.
Any ideas?

It can't read the file system, you need to zero fill the hard drive or remove the partitions first.
