Can anyone help resolve a problem that a friend is having:
He has a (Microtek???)SCCI Scanmaker V310 flatbed scanner running Version 4.11 software (package not known).
It works fine as long as it's used regularly, but if he doesn't use it for a couple of months, it doesn't work, and he has to re-install it completely.

When he goes to use it, he gets the message:
"COULD NOT LOAD OR RUN 'CD SETUP.EXE' SPECIFIED IN THE WIN.INI FILE."

Can anyone offer an explanation?
