Blizzard Announces Starcraft 2
During opening ceremonies at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Seoul, Korea, Blizzard Entertainment finally announced that the sequel to its phenomenally successful real-time strategy game Starcraft is currently under development.
Blizzard has also launched the Starcraft 2 official website with more info, screenshots and the cinematic trailer to the upcoming sci-fi RTS sequel. The web site contains an FAQ that reveals the game will be compatible with both Windows Vista and the older XP operating systems as well as the Macintosh.
