USB 2.0 Hub giving "New Hardware" message
Every time I start up the computer with the hub attached, it gives me the "New Hardware" dialog box. I've tried to update it, but it comes up in the Device Manager as Other Devices>USB Device. It has a big yellow question mark with an exclamation point as an icon.
I was wondering what I can do to fix rhis. Everything attached to the hub runs fine, but it's just annoying to have to deal with that popup every time I restart.
It's a Dynex USB 2.0 4-Port Hub
Running XP Pro
Thanks in advance.

Intel Mod
If you haven't already tried this, disconnect the hub and re-start Windows in Safe Mode. In the Device Manager, remove all instances of USB hub (probably Generic USB Hub). Re-boot, and when Windows is fully loaded up, attach the hub alone to the USB port it is usually used with. See if Windows successfully installs it as a Generic USB Hub. Try to ensure you are using the hub on a USB 2.0 port, e.g. not the 1.1 mouse port that some boards place next to the PS/2 keyboard connector, and best to avoid moving it from port to port once it is correctly installed.
