    Resolved [RESOLVED] Orb

I am considering adding the Castlewood Orb (external USB) to my system.

Would apprciate any comments as to any downsides to the Orb.

    Thanks,

Finding media for it might be a problem. Check the cost per megabyte of media against that of other removable storage. A CD-rewriter or hard drive in a removable caddy might be a better solution.

I bought a 100MB ZIP drive about 2 years ago and now wish I would have bought a burner. I hardly use it at all.

Don't touch that drive, it's crappy not worth a single cent. Listen to Macgyver's advice and get a burner.

Burner, burner, burner! Makes the day go by so much more smoothly! But honestly, for the initial cost, the cost of media, and user flexibility, you'd be much better off purchasing a CD/R-W drive.

    Hey, ya'll... eklipse, sly69, ccc555 & MacGyver ...

Really appreciate the feedback. Looks like CD/R-W 4, Orb 0. I'm convinced. The CD/R-W is more versatile and I can use any bad burns for skeet shooting. Ü
