High Blood Pressure
I have slightly elevated blood pressure and have been doing some research on the net and I see all kinds of claims of this and that curing the issue. I was just wondering if anything out there really works for high blood pressure other then going to the doctor and taking there expensive drugs that have bad side effects? Whats your experience? My pressure is around 155 over 95 most of the time.

My home remedy is first person shooter games and the mastery of headshots on unsuspecting opponents.

155 is going to give you a miocardial infarction one day soon.
Or a stroke!
Many things will alleviate the cause BUT generally the only way to lower it is through proper drug therapy and beneficial life habit changes.
IMHO

Unless there is a physiological reason for high blood pressure, all you need to do is quit caffiene and nicotine... and then learn to stay calm when things don't go to plan... quit shouting at other drivers (they can't hear you anyway). Quit trying to get there on time... better to get there alive and a few mins late than dead. Things that make you angry should make you laugh in future.

Some people have a "normal" higher blood pressure and some have a lower one. It depends very much on how and when you measure it. Was it measured in a doctor's office or do you measure it at home? Is the equipment of good quality? If you're using a digital monitor, those are not the most precise things despite the resolution (one reason for which doctors use the good old mercury column pressure meter and a stethoscope). Pressure should be measured after 15-20 minutes of sitting, with the arm at the heart level and without watching the display.
FYI my blood pressure is about the same (150-160/80-90 if measured after "alert" periods, but ~120-130/70 if measured properly... If it goes below 110-120 I start getting headaches that disappear once I drink coffee or some red wine.
