Unlikely that anyone or any organization will rid us of all malware. It's far too lucrative a market. But 20% is a very nice drop for the time being.
Although it would have been a lot more satisfying if there was some dismemberment or drawing and quartering or something like that

The war against malware wasn't won here, but it was a significant victory nonetheless. It also marks a major step forward in terms of the industry policing itself. Still, I think you're off the mark when you refer to dismemberment or drawing and quartering. I'm certain you meant "and" in place of "or". I think flaying is a good warmup exercise.
