    Resolved [RESOLVED] Sound card problem

I have an ESS ES 1868 sound card.
    Win95 133 Pentium
When I load the driver my system loads the ES1869 driver. If I change the resource settings or the output ranges in the control interface will this fix it.and where can I get the settings for my driver. Or should I toss this sound card and buy a knew one?

    Hi,
The link below should work for you. Make sure that you pick the correct model number and OS...
    http://www.esstech.com/Technical/dri...iver.htm#These

The file is a Zip file...when you Unzip it, it will create additional driver files in a directory that you decide on.

Boot into Safe Mode...remove all references to your sound card. Reboot and let WinDoze find it...tell it that you have the disk. Then Browse to the location of the Unzipped driver files...hopefully, it'll start flying for you.

    Good Luck!
