PCMCIA ISDN Card on XP SP3
Hi
I Have tried to Install a Sitecom PCMCIA ISDN Card on WINXP SP3 but to no Avail. The Card was Manufactured by Abovcom Inc, Originally for use with Win98/2000. The card used to work on Win 2000. I have tried Various Win2000 XP Drivers from both Sitecom & Abovcom DownLoad sites.Even got desperate and tried to use the RVS-Com drivers.
The errors Windows Driver update provides after attempted Install is Cannot Find\Load File or Data is Invalid.
Is there a way to log what files are loaded\written or any WinXP\ISDN Experts have any Ideas.
Thanks in Advance
Tony

Welcome to Windrivers Nuts
Is this home or pro?
Data is Invalid is a permissions problem in the registry
You should try logging on as Administrator in pro or going to safe mode in home and logging in as Administrator and try it from there.
Also check the event viewer for errors at the time of installation.

Ah the PhD has come to a grinding halt... Prof died, company not going ahead with project... lot gone wrong. Looks like I will have to put it on the back burner and go and earn some money instead.
Try extracting the inf file and use device manager, update driver to install.
