I am fairly intelligent when it comes to networking but I must have a brain fart on this one.

We are on vacation {Panama City Beach, FL} in a condo with a cable modem, Arris SD 3 series. I have brought my Westell 327 W Wireless router / modem from home that I use with my Centurytel DSL account. The IP of the wireless router is 192.168.1.1. DHCP is enabled. My plan is to run the RJ45 cable from the cable modem to the wireless router / modem so both my wife and myself can connect wirelessly. Otherwise, I have to run the 1 Ethernet cable from the cable modem to my laptop. I DID plug the RJ45 to my laptop from the CABLE modem and can connect. And, if I do an IPCONFIG /ALL, I see:

IP address {laptop} 10.202.95.34
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
DHCP and Default Gateway 10.202.95.1
DNS 10.61.32.1

I know that my Westell router is not on the same network so do I need to change it’s IP addy?

I would like to be able to connect both my laptops wirelessly.
