    Cool acer aspire 5100

    After formating my laptop I found that the cd/dvd rom was not recognised I have seen on other forums that this is a common problem. Can you help please.

    If you reformatted and want to use the cd/dvd to install, it has to be selected as the FIRST boot device in the Bios.
