[RESOLVED] pci multimedia audio driver

does anyone know what driver is needed for the pci multimedia audio i have a new hard drive and no sound

"PCI Multimedia Audio" is a very general term for any PCI sound card. When Windows first detects one of these and can't find the drivers, it will put this device under "Unknown Devices". You will have to look inside the case and see what exact card you have - or at least what chipset your PCI sound card has.
