[RESOLVED] Sounbblaster 5.1, no sound

Hello, I just installed 5.1 on my computer and am not able to get my speakers to work when I plug them in. I was told they are the correct speakers for 5.1 and have tried them on a laptop and they work just fine. I had onboard sound that quit working when I switched back to Win 98 from Win ME and was told to disable onboard sound in the BIOS which I did. I am pretty much a novice and this is the frist time opening my computer and doing something to it, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jim

Never mind faulty card , exchanged at show for another, works fine now. Thanks
