Resolved [RESOLVED] Crackling Sound heard in Win2k w/ Ensoniq Audio PCI

When playing mp3s or other when windows plays a system sound(startup or shutdown wavs or various beeps)the sound is scratchy. I have checked for IRQ conflicts and none exist. I have moved the card to different slots with no change. In Win98 I don't have this problem. Any suggestions?
I have an AMD K62 333, Tyan board, there are no other PCI cards in the box. I do have two ISA and 1 AGP

    Question

I've had the exact same problem with the same card, only on Win98. I switched from a generic Yamaha chipset ISA card to an Ensoniq AudioPCI PCI card when it started happening. I've checked everything and come to the same conclusion. Let me know what you find out!! [email protected]
